I worked at VAMC with Alma for many years. She was an outstanding nurse, always putting others be fore herself. Always helping her co-workers. We traveled to England several times, she always enjoyed the traveling. She was a good friend.

My parents, James & Myrtle Carter, were next door neighbors to Alma & Leon. What a loving, caring couple they were! Alma was so kind to my mom and dad through the years. She meant so much to all of us. If I couldn't get in touch with my parents, I would call Alma to get her to check on them. What a help that was since I live in North Carolina. I am so sorry for your loss.
