Algean Cape Motes

Belvedere, SC……Algean Cape Motes, 86, beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother passed away on Thursday, February 1, 2018 at Doctors Hospital.

 

Her funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, February 3, 2018 in the Rowland-Ford Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. John Meyer officiating. Interment will follow at Pineview Memorial Gardens.

 

Born on October 28, 1931, she was the daughter of Albert Cleveland Cape and MaeBell McClain Cape.  Mrs. Motes was a member of Belvedere First Baptist Church.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Luther M. Motes, Sr.

 

Survivors include her son, Luther M. “Marty” Motes, Jr. (Lee); her daughter, Theresa Motes; 4 grandchildren, Carla M. Woodward (Tim), Lynne M. Toole (Michael), Jessica Bone, all of North Augusta, SC and Keith Hamilton (Jessica) of Augusta, GA; 8 great-grandchildren, Hudson, Colton, Brooklynn, Micah, Luke, Thomas, Grady and Nicholas; and a number of nieces and nephews.

 

The family will receive friends one hour prior to her service at the funeral home.

 

Pallbearers will be her grandsons-in-law and great grandsons.
