Ada Diane Stone

Nashville, TN… Diane Stone, 77, went to be with the Lord on Monday morning, June 4, 2018. 

Her memorial service will be held at 5:00 PM on Thursday, June 7, 2018 at True North Church, with Pastor Tom Kalliokoski officiating.

She was born to the late Harold and Ora Stone on November 18, 1940 and raised in Dover, Tennessee with her six siblings, Billy, Hilda, Eugene, Virginia, Robert, and Ben. 

Her legacy lives on through her only daughter, Leah W. Melvin (David); granddaughters, Rachael M. Blevins (Damian) and Calli M. Schaffer (Sean); and her great-grandchildren, Claire, Sadie, Silas and David. 

She worked as an LPN and RN at Metropolitan General Hospital for over 30 years and had a true love of caring for people. After retiring, Diane enjoyed traveling, cooking, gardening, and her loving family.

In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at True North Church.
